Page 1 of 2 ESBI billed me through my AT&T service $16.07 fotr some bogus Residential Email,LLC monthly servic fee...that I have never heard of ...when I called SBI they said I signed up over the Internet..and when I asked what email address was used they gave me some off the wall address that wasn't mine...how are they(ESBI) getting my information...
AT&T claims that this is not slamming but getting billed through my phone carrier for a service I never signed up for sure feels like it to me....have placed a block on my number and am filing complaints with the FTC something is illegal here....

ESBI or MY Voicemail NTwk charged me not once but twice. I called the day I got my bill last month and "cancelled" whatever this bogus service is. Never heard of it and don't need to use " voicemail" as I have one thru my phone carrier - Verizon. But "because I called so late last time, I was already billed for this month too and they don't have the authority to reverse/refund charges". Nor do their supervisors handle phone calls.

This is also billed through ESBI - I called them 1-800-773-0052 (myinfoguard, llc) and was told they are unable to locate an acccount to the number listed on my bill. They said that you have to go online and sign up for their service - I said that this number is connected to digital recording device and I'm positive it didn't go online and sign up for the service. So....get this straight...they do not which of my lines is signed up for their service but they are billing my account? How the heck does that work? This was unnoticed and started with our August 08 bill - how many people are they ripping off like this and how come AT&T lets it happen?

Had same problem. Called AT&T and they put a 3rd party billing block on my phone. It seems to be working.

I was recently billed for many of the common services also. My story is similar to ones that you all share. I was charged by the apparent company "Enhanced services billing". After a discussion with a sales representative I was informed the charges will be credited to my AT&T account. I am concerned how often this goes unnoticed and also where how the companies receive my personal information. I was told someone carrying the same last name as I signed up for services on line. I received no confirmation email just the new charges to my account. I will be doing my research.
Contact information for EIS 1800-917-9469 and 1888-288-3724
I was also hit with similar charges from ILD Teleservices, Same story and situation. There number is 1800-433-4518.
My main concern is the amount of my AT&T account information they held.

I have just tried to call Enhanced Services about a charge on my AT&T phone bill and got an answering machine. AT&T noted my account with my "observation" because I stated that I did not approve the service, did not even know what it is, and have no intention of paying the charge. Now, waiting for ESBI to return my call.
